Questions
What is a claim sale?
A claim sale is a first-come, first-served sale used in collector communities: the seller posts items at fixed prices, shares one link, and the first buyer to claim an item gets it. No bidding, no auction timers — the fastest claim wins.
How is the winner decided?
By one atomic database write. The first claim to land is the only one that can succeed — two people physically cannot win the same item, no matter how close they click. The verdict is made server-side, to the millisecond, not by reading comment timestamps.
Do buyers need an account?
No. Buyers open the link, enter a display handle and an email, and claim. That's it — no signup, no password. Only sellers create accounts.
Is Claimheist free?
Yes — free while we build with the first sellers. Paid seller plans may come later, but claiming will always be free for buyers.
How do buyers pay?
Off-platform, directly between buyer and seller — MobilePay, bank transfer or in person. Claimheist never touches the money and takes no cut of your sales.
