How claim sales work

A claim sale is first-come, first-served with a referee that never sleeps: the seller posts items at fixed prices, shares one link, and the first buyer to claim an item gets it. Here is the whole flow, from both sides.

For sellers

1. Create a listing. Add your cards or sets with photos and fixed prices. Search our catalog to attach a live market price to each item — buyers see the going rate next to your asking price, so a good deal proves itself.
2. Publish and share one link. Post it in your Facebook group, subreddit or Discord. The link unfurls with your photos, and buyers can claim from any phone — no app install, no account.
3. Watch claims land live. The moment an item is claimed it locks for everyone, marked with the winner's handle. No comment-thread racing, no timestamps to referee.
4. Winners, sorted. Every winner appears on your dashboard with their contact details and verified-email status. Arrange payment the way your community already does — MobilePay, bank transfer, in person — and tick items off as paid. Claimheist never touches the money.

For buyers

1. Open the link. No account needed — the listing works in the browser on any phone.
2. Enter a handle and your email. The handle is what the room sees; the email is how the seller reaches you if you win.
3. Claim. You get the verdict instantly: won, or someone beat you to it. Either way you know right away — no waiting for the seller to read the comments.
4. If you won: you get a receipt by email, the seller gets your contact details, and you settle payment directly with them. A quick optional email verification tells the seller you're reachable.

Why it's fair

Every claim is a single atomic write to the database, and only the first one can succeed. Two people physically cannot win the same item — the decision is made server-side, to the millisecond, not by whoever's comment loaded first. The same rule applies to everyone, including the seller's friends.
